The Korean International School in Tianjin (KIST) is an overseas Korean school officially accredited by Korea’s Ministry of Education, founded in 2001 by the local Korean community. Under the motto ‘the community owns the school,’ it has become a public asset that Tianjin’s Korean community nurtures together.

The school raises a development fund and issues official Chinese invoices (fapiao) as well as donation receipts for Korean year-end tax settlement. Upon contact, a staff member visits in person to help complete the pledge form.
