Shinhan Bank Tianjin & CCPIT to hold a ‘stabilizing foreign enterprises’ seminar on Sept 9

Shinhan Bank (China) Co., Ltd. Tianjin Branch and the CCPIT Tianjin Sub-Council will co-host a professional seminar themed ‘stabilizing foreign-invested enterprises and promoting trade expansion’ at the Tianjin Friendship Hotel in China on Sept 9.

Under the slogan ‘Cooperation · Partnership · Win-Win (sangsaeng),’ the seminar aims to improve Tianjin’s business environment and build communication channels among government, enterprises and banks. The organizers plan a four-dimensional ‘government + bank + certification + insurance’ platform to help locally established foreign-invested and trading companies stabilize operations.

Registration opens at 8:40 a.m. and the program runs until 1:30 p.m., with experts from the relevant agencies addressing practical issues directly. Tianjin Customs will present new import/export clearance rules, declaration-compliance points, customs-audit risk control and prevention, and practical ways to shorten clearance times. The CCPIT legal team will cover China–Korea tariff reductions under the RCEP, certificate-of-origin applications and issuance, and China–Korea trade-dispute handling.

The seminar also features sessions on risk management and certification. China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) will propose ways to prevent overseas-buyer default risk, along with export credit insurance products and comprehensive clauses for overseas receivables risk. TÜV SÜD (Namdeok) will cover international quality-system building for export products, overseas client vetting and product certification abroad.

The host bank, Shinhan, will explain in detail its tailored financial services along with major banking operations such as forward FX, trade finance and overseas settlement. The seminar concludes with participant discussion, Q&A and a group photo, followed by lunch at the hotel restaurant.
